Alumni Association

Namaste,

The Nalanda Parivaar takes pride in announcing, the official registration of our very own 'Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association'. 
The coming together to  have an official association, is with the intention to promote our various Indian art forms by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and also to address the various problems that every artist encounters while promoting the art forms.

Please note that the get together dinner that was organised some years back at Ravindra Natya Mandir, was an informal reunion to reconnect and payments made then were towards the booking of the dining area and catering on that day. 

This present initiative is towards the official membership of the Alumni Association and is  applicable to the Ex students of the Graduation and Post Graduation section of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya.

Some of the main objectives of the Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association are:

1. To bring in its fold all past students of this Institution as its official members.
2. To enlist as 'Patrons' everyone who is an art lover and a promoter of the Fine arts .They could be  Nalanda Alumni as well as, anyone other than Alumni as well.
3. To enroll the students of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya who will be passing out in future and near future too as its official members. 
4. To provide essential assistance to needy students enabling them to join and complete the degree course of Nalanda. 
5. To provide the required assistance to the official members of the Alumni Association ,students and Patrons by providing them with programmes and the facilities for conducting them. 

The Nalanda Alumni Association is coming up with many innovative, creative and exciting ideas in the form of events, workshops, performances, seminars, panel discussions  etc.( Online and offline) and looks forward to welcoming all of you to be a part of this artistic journey.

This is a personal invitation to all of you ,to become official members of the 'Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association' to reconnect with your friends and batchmates and also avail of all the artistic benefits .

The membership fees are:

• Patron - One time payment of Rs. 15000/-
• Life Member - One time payment of Rs 7000/-
• Yearly Members - Rs. 1500/- per annum

Privileges and benefits of membership:

1. An official registration will automatically create a virtual database ,for the Alumni members to connect with potential employers and professional assignments. 
2. Official members will be provided with the required facilities and permission to use the Nalanda premises at nominal rates ,for conducting practice sessions  on Saturdays and Sundays. 
3. The Nalanda Library can be accessed by the members for research and data ,as per the days and Library rules .
4. Scholarship & Fellowship will be given to the college students by the Patrons and Life Members on qualifying the required criteria
5. Discounted fees can be availed for attending the workshops, seminars,panel discussions etc. that will be conducted by the Alumni Association.This is subject to the category of membership.
6. New dance pieces  and improvised old items will be taught to the Alumni members at a discounted fee as per membership category. 

And many more such events and functions. We are open to your suggestions for the same.

Attached below, please find the Membership Registration Form to be duly filled and submitted for registering as a Patron/ Life Member/Yearly Member ,of the Alumni Association. The last date for registration is May 10th 2023. 

An event is being planned for June 11th 2023, the birth anniversary of our Late Guru Padmabhushan Dr. Kanak Rele. All official registered members are invited to perform on this day.
