Practical I -Nritta

1. Acquire introductory knowledge of a major 'Nritta' item of the repertoire of the Dance style.
2. To Undertsand in detail the Format and Content of the 'Varnam'.
3. Student will be able to analyze the items (both nritta and nritya) of the repertoire as per the various theoretical concepts of Indian Classical dance as well as the Shlokas of Abhinayadarpanam for Bharata Natyam and Balaramabharatam for MohiniAttam.
4. Student will be able to co-relate 'Dance Notations' and Performance.
5. Student will be able to develop the confidence of performing on stage.
6. Student will be able to develop the skill of the 'art of recitation'.

Nritya

1. Understand and analyse the devotional items in the curriculam.
2. Undesatnd philosophical background of the items.

Music and talas

1. Improve the knowledge of Music.
2. Use the music to enhance expression in Dance.
3. To use and analyse different mathematical combinations in dance itemsvvvvvvvvvvv.
4. Understand the utilization of the music to enhance the beauty of the Dance.
