Nalanda's Library (KRC) $ IQAC cell jointly organised a National Webinar on "Self-Archiving: Enhancing Research Visibility and Accessibility" on 14th February,2025 at 12 pm in Ratana Sabha.Dr.Mangala HIrwade from Nagpur,an expert in open access initiatives, was the Resource person.The session focused on the importance of self-archiving for researchers, faculty, and librarians, covering key aspects such as repository selection, copyright policies, and maximizing research impact.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr.Uma Rele, followed by insights from Head of Department and IQAC Coordinator,Associate Professor Dr.Meenakshi Iyer-Gangopadyay and an introduction of the speaker by Librarian Smt.Ramyia Shreejesh.. A lively Q&A session engaged participants, and the session concluded with a vote of thanks by Library Committee Member, Assistant Professor Dr.Chinmayee Deodhar.
