    Date : 18th February, 2025
    Day : Tuesday
    Time : 6:00 pm

The students of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya  performed at Natyanjali 2025 as part of the 21st Natyotsav and Nataraja Aradhanai on February 18, 2025, at Sri Subramania Samaj Temple Complex, Chhedanagar, Chembur, Mumbai.

The event began with a Padam, Yedukku Itanai, a Ninda Stuti where the devotee offers prayers to Lord Shiva with sarcastic undertones. Set in Raga Suruti and Rupaka Tala, it is a composition of Shri Marimuthu Pillai and was choreographed by Padmabhushan Dr. Smt. Kanak Rele. The dancers conveyed the essence of the piece through expressive Abhinaya.

This was followed by a Tillana in Raga Hindolam and Adi Tala, dedicated to Lord Shanmukha. The performance showcased intricate rhythmic patterns and dynamic movements, leaving a lasting impression on the rasikas.

All the students were felicitated by Smt. Jayashree Nair and Principal Dr. Guru Smt. Uma Rele, who appreciated their efforts and dedication.
