Nalanda advocates that Dance cannot be appreciated or learnt by reading books alone but is to be understood and enjoyed by the two most important sense organs the eyes and the ears. Thus Nalanda’s Knowledge Recourse Centre is multi-dimensional and projects Dance as a four dimensional phenomenon - existing in Time, Space, Body and Mind. Thus besides books the library possesses
CDs and DVDs - • Music CDs pertaining to dance • Video DVDs of some of the greatest maestros of Indian Dance. • Knowledge packages on all styles as well as folk and tribal dances. • Photographs of archaeological monuments, icons and sculptures and much more.
KNOWLEDGE RESOURCE CENTRE TIMINGS :
The Knowledge Resource Centre is open all the days except Sundays and national holidays
It operates from Monday to Friday - 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and On Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays)
Library gives open access to students and staff. A student can issue one book in his/her name at time and keep the book for 7 days only if it is a textbook. Reference books are not allowed to take out of the library. Staff members are allowed to keep up to 5 books for a period of one year.

TIMINGS : 10.30 am to 4.30 pm (MON-FRI)
FEES : Rs.500/- for 3 months (Nalanda Alumni) and Rs.1000/- for 1 month (Non-Alumni)
