"In a captivating workshop held today, attendees were treated to mesmerizing journey into the world of "Cross Rhythm by none other than Dr. Prakriti Bhaskar from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kanaka Sabha
Dr. Prakriti shared her profound 14-year journey of learning under the tutelage of her revered Guru Late T S Kadhirvellu Pillai - a nattuvanar and teacher par excellence.
She further explained how his style of composing was unique yet traditional. The workshop came alive as Dr. Prakriti Bhaskar recited and a played a plethora of intricate and beautiful jatis showcasing the in depth knowledge of her understanding. Her session left the students in awe as they were transported into a realm where they understood the complexity of cross rhythm. This workshop was testament to the power of dedication, passion and profound connection between a guru and shishya leaving a lasting impression on all fortunate enough to witness it."
